about us

My name is Natalia Enns and I’m the owner and dyer of Sea Panda Yarns.

I’m trained in the art of baking and hold a Bachelor of Social Work. I work full-time in non-profit with youth with barriers to employment and find so much purpose in helping others. Sea Panda Yarns is a vessel for my imagination and ideas to become reality during the in-betweens of life. I love what I do.

My journey into the world of fibre arts started during my early years when my mom taught me how to crochet. Uninspired by the yarns I found in the store, I took a new path and started delving into the world of dyeing in 2017. After honing my skills, I established Sea Panda Yarns to inspire others to embrace and celebrate their quirky and eccentric originality.

Transforming bare yarn into an eye-catching piece of art has become a genuine way for me to express myself. It allows me to experiment with unique dyeing techniques using vibrant dyes, resulting in captivating and otherworldly colour combinations.

As you explore my shop, you'll come across yarns that feature distinct and sometimes unconventional colour combinations. My colourways are designed to spark your creativity and inspire you to embark on your own artistic endeavors.

Prepare to immerse yourself in Sea Panda Yarns, where yarn becomes more than just fibre — it's a means to express yourself and find the inspiration to create something truly special!
